Lurline Less is Chair of the North America and Caribbean (NAC) Region of the International Diabetes Federation. She is also Chair of the Diabetes Association of Jamaica where she has been a member for the past 22 years and a volunteer for the past 14 years, and an executive member of the Royal Commonwealth Society of Jamaica
Lurline Less has a bachelor’s degree in Health Administration from the University of Technology and a Master of Philosophy in Diabetology from the University of the West Indies. Her work is dedicated to the cause of diabetes, and making contributions in the area of lay diabetes education and a full diabetes service delivery centre. Her interest is to improve the lives of people with diabetes through education, equity in access to care and improvement in quality of care in diabtes management. Lurline has being living with diabetes for over 20 years and is happily married with 2 children.
