The IDF BRIDGES programme supports translational research to determine the actions that improve outcomes in different populations. To date, BRIDGES is supporting 38 studies into sustainable community-based interventions for adoption in the real world. The programme is active in 34 countries worldwide, from Belfast to Bamako, Melbourne to Amman.
Turn the pages of the World Guide to IDF BRIDGES 2012 for the very latest on the projects and their achievement to date. Each report is presented alongside epidemiological data and key facts for each country so that you can keep an eye on BRIDGES worldwide and the countries it serves.
BRIDGES is an International Diabetes Federation programme, supported by an educational grant from Lilly Diabetes.

I would recommend this book
I would recommend this book to presofsionals as well as non-presofsionals living and/or working with diabetes. As a social worker working with families living with diabetes, I found this book extremely informational and it increased my knowledge and understanding of many aspects of diabetes in an easy-to-read and easy-to-follow format. I would recommend this book to anyone with diabetes or with a child with diabetes.
