Linda McGoldrick has been appointed interim Chief Executive Officer of IDF until a permanent appointment is made, hopefully by the spring of 2013.
Linda is a global business strategy leader and policy expert in the health care and life sciences sectors. She has held a number of senior roles in European and North American companies, and has extensive experience of serving on the boards of NGOs, charities and public bodies in both Europe and the US.
Linda will take up her duties on Tuesday 8 January and will be welcomed to the Executive Office in Brussels by Michael Hirst, the incoming President, who takes up office on 1 January 2013.

I wish to move a huge of thanx to the out going president Proffesor Jean Claude Mbanya for his tireless effort put in during his term of office. At the same time same thanx goes to the same excutive he was working with which am sure did a recommendable job on Diabetes especially creating awareness to the public. Well done&continue as the struggle is still on going. Then welcome the new President Mr Micheal&his team.
