Join Primary Care Diabetes Europe for their 8th International Conference in Barcelona

Primary Care Diabetes Europe (PCDE) will hold its 8th International Conference in Barcelona, Spain, on 23 and 24 May 2014. This year, the conference will look at Diabetes education in multimorbidity and hypoglycaemic management.

The scope of the meeting comprises a broad range of topics about various aspects of cure and care for people living with diabetes, relevant for all primary health care practitioners and will present an opportunity to share and discuss the latest state of the art knowledge in the field.

The scientific programme features keynote lectures, state of the art sessions and workshops from international experts addressing topics such as drugs and hypoglycaemia, self monitoring blood glucose, communications skills, the influence of  E-media and social networks as well as multifaceted management. In a special “rising star session” a young promising researcher will have the opportunity to present his work, while the 5th “Paul Cromme lecture” will honour a European primary care celebrity, active in the diabetes field.

Deadline for abstract submission is 3 March 2014.
