Life for a Child Support

commenced in 2005

Support of 40 children and adolescents was commenced in 2005 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania – with the provision of insulin, syringes, and education. A machine to measure HbA1c (glycosylated haemoglobin – an index of medium-term blood glucose control) was also provided.
The hospitals caring for the children also receive help from other agencies and the Tanzanian Government, and so the support has been able to be stretched to 130 children and adolescents.
