IDF Europe welcomes the new OECD publication on Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) and Diabetes. While CVD mortality has reduced, the burgeoning diabetes burden will increase those at risk of CVD.

The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) has launched the World Diabetes Day (WDD) 2015 campaign on the occasion of the 68th World Health Assembly (WHA) in Geneva.

Campaign details were released at IDF’s WHA side event “Nourishing development: halting the diabetes epidemic through healthy eating” on May 19.

Spare a Rose 2015: roses spared children saved

This Valentine’s Day, the Spare a Rose Save a Child campaign was once again a resounding success with over USD 24,000 raised for the IDF Life for a Child Programme (LFAC). Thanks to the 684 donations received, more than 400 children with diabetes in the developing world will be kept alive for one year.
