The Nominating Committee consists of five members:
- Outgoing IDF President
- Two outgoing IDF Vice-Presidents
- Two outgoing IDF Regional Chairs.
IDF is currently in a transition phase. The above composition of the Nominating Committee will come into effect for the next term of office.
The Nominating Committee cannot consist of more than two members from any of the constituencies defined in Article 14.1 of the IDF Articles of Association. The outgoing President serves ex-officio, and the four remaining members are elected by the General Council. The Committee is entrusted with the task of selecting and proposing to the General Council, in accordance with the provisions set forth in the By-Laws, the candidates for the following positions:
- President-Elect
- Vice-Presidents
- Members of the Nominating Committee
The Chair of the Committee is elected from among its members.
