Noorjahan Samad is Professor of Gynaecology and Obstetrics in the Dow Medical College and Civil Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan. She is also a member of the World Health Organization Consultation on the Definition, Diagnosis and Classification of Diabetes Mellitus and its Complications.
