Yasuko Uchigata is professor of the Diabetes Centre, Tokyo Women’s Medical University School of Medicine, Japan. She is a member of the Japan Association for Diabetes Education and Care paediatric diabetes task force, and a representative of the DAWN Youth Japan advisory board.
