Dr Graham Ogle [1]

Dr Graham Ogle is an Australian paediatric endocrinologist working with HOPE worldwide (Australia). He is the General Manager of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) Life for a Child Programme. Graham is married with three children and is based in Sydney.

Graham graduated from the University of Sydney with 1st class honours, and specialised in paediatric endocrinology. In the 1990s he spent five years working in Papua New Guinea establishing HOPE worldwide (PNG) in 1993, and 15 months in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, as the founding Director of the Sihanouk Hospital Center of HOPE, which has become a centre of excellence for medical and surgical care and health professional training.

Graham spends 90% of his time working in international diabetes via the IDF Life for a Child Programme, tackling clinical care of diabetes in children and youth, capacity building of diabetes centres, diabetes research, and extensive international advocacy. He also serves on two IDF Task Forces: Insulin and Other Essential Diabetes Medicines and Technologies and Children and Adolescents.
