Producing the evidence [1]

Conducting surveys, publishing reports and supporting research are essential to develop our evidence-based advocacy and to raise awareness on diabetes amongst the different audiences we want to reach.

There is no questionning that diabetes is a public health priority. IDF Europe has developped several publications to inform all the stakeholders involved in diabetes about the extent of the epidemic, what is being done and what still needs to be done to counter it:

• Diabetes : The Policy Puzzle

Diabetes: The Policy Puzzle is the only pan-European audit which documents the evolution of the diabetes epidemic and the disparate national policies and practices that currently exist across the European region. Find out more [2].

• Country Reports

IDF Europe has published several Country Reports to improve the understanding about the diabetes epidemic in several countries across Europe.
Find out more [3].

• Surveys and Toolkits

IDF Europe publishes several surveys and toolkits on different diabetes-related issues such as National Diabetes Programmes, driving license or local prevention programmes. Find out more [4].
