The World Diabetes Congress is one of the world’s largest health-related congresses, attracting over 400 high-level speakers and representatives from over 200 diabetes member associations across 160 countries.

IDF has run the World Diabetes Congress since 1952. The 2011 World Diabetes Congress in Dubai attracted 15,000 delegates.

The congress offers complimentary access to registered members of the media only.
