Policy Puzzle survey: have your say on the evolution of diabetes policies in your country!

EURADIA, FEND, IDF Europe and PCDE are working on the 4th edition of Diabetes: The Policy Puzzle, the only pan-European audit that monitors the evolution of the diabetes epidemic and the national policies and practices that currently exist in the 47 countries of the IDF Europe region.

International Women's Day: obesity, smoking and sedentary lifestyles put women at high risk of diabetes

On International Women’s Day it is time to reflect on the global impact of diabetes on women. An estimated 382 million people live with diabetes worldwide, and approximately half of these people are women.  Diabetes is the ninth leading cause of death in women globally, causing 2.1 million deaths per year.

Diabetes UK and IDF Europe release joint statement on UK Front of Pack Nutrition Labelling Scheme

Ahead of the Council of the European Union meeting on Competitiveness on 20 and 21 February, IDF Europe and Diabetes UK have issued a joint statement on the UK Front of Pack Nutrition Labelling Scheme.

Join Primary Care Diabetes Europe for their 8th International Conference in Barcelona

Primary Care Diabetes Europe (PCDE) will hold its 8th International Conference in Barcelona, Spain, on 23 and 24 May 2014. This year, the conference will look at Diabetes education in multimorbidity and hypoglycaemic management.

2014 IDF Europe Staff Exchange: Call for Applications

For the 4th consecutive year, IDF Europe is continuing its Member Associations Staff Exchange Programme. If you are working for a member association, apply for this unique opportunity to join the IDF Europe staff and work in Brussels as a “staff member on loan”, in a dynamic and international atmosphere for 6 months (July to December 2014).
