World Guide to IDF BRIDGES 2014

Launched in 2007, The IDF BRIDGES (Bringing Research in Diabetes to Global Environments and Systems) Programme funds translational research projects in primary and secondary prevention of diabetes to provide the opportunity to ‘translate’ lessons learned from clinical research to those who can benefit most: people affected by diabetes.

A mega diabetes walkathon beginning at Baghatjatin Park, Siliguri and ending at Kins Diabetic Clinic. There will be free sugar and blood pressure tests and an awareness camp is being organised at the clinic on the same day.

Advances and Challenges in the management of diabetes and thyroid disorders

EXCEMED is focusing its efforts on organising a dedicated educational conference for health care professionals involved in the management of diabetes and thyroid disorders, particularly in regions at highest risk. KiDS project launches in Canada

IDF in collaboration with the Canadian Diabetes Association (CDA) is launching the Kids and Diabetes in Schools (KiDS) project today in Toronto.

A launch event will be held in a local Toronto school and attended by over 50 people including the Honourable Dipika Damerla, Associate Minister of Health and Long-Term Care.

3ª Carrera y Caminata Popular por la Diabetes and ExpoDiabetes

Under the motto "Join the blue tide. Move for diabetes", the event will be the final point to the commemorative activities that will develop throughout Spain concerning November 14, World Diabetes Day. The organizers foresee the participation of more than 4.000 people, a new record after the 3.000 who subscribed to the previous edition.

All participants will be able to choose between a 10 kilometer race, with male and female categories and prizes, as well as a 2.5 km walk for all ages. There will also babysitters for infants and children between the ages of 0-12 years.

RSB4C- Roler Skate/ Blade for Charity

Roller Skating/Blading Marathon for Summer/Autumn 2015 aims to benefit individuals and families affected by diabetes.
RSB4C will raise money through events that will fund programs to assist diabetes patients, provide support for children and parents, and contribute to scientific research on diabetes.
