The 2nd Asia Pacific Congress on Controversies to Consensus in Diabetes, Obesity and Hypertension (CODHy)

The great success of the 1st CODHy Asia Pacific Congress, held in Shanghai, 2011, and the enthusiastic feedback from the latest CODHy China Congress, highlighted the need to continue to deliver dynamic and highly engaging congresses to the International community. We are excited to pronounce that CODHy Asia Pacific will be devoted to evidence-based debates and discussions amongst chairpersons, speakers and the audience, all of whom will examine and analyze the most relevant issues raised during the course of 2013 - 2014 within the fields of Diabetes, Obesity and Hypertension.

IFMSA- Alquds World Diabetes Day and cooking contest

The International Assembly of Medical Students of Al- Quds University, Jerusalem will implement a public health initiative culminating in a cooking contest for healthy dishes for the students of the University. Prestigious kitchen and household prizes will be awarded and the winner will be given a trophy. There will also be a lecture with a Question and Answer portion where participants will also be able to win prizes.

Caminata y Carrera por la Diabetes Segunda Edición

The 2nd. edition of the Run and Walk for Diabetes aims to promote the importance of physical exercise as a habit to prevent diabetes, and in the case of those already living with the disease, to encourage physical activity as a fundamental part of their management and lifestyle. We look forward to 1500 people registering to walk 3km (for families), run a 5km race or a 10km race.
