Junior Professional Officer Programme

The International Diabetes Federation’s (IDF) Junior Professional Officer (JPO) Programme gives young university graduates, and young qualified professionals the opportunity to obtain training and exposure to IDFs work in the field of diabetes and non-communicable diseases (NCDs). All JPO posts are based at the Federation’s Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. This scheme is open to EU nationals only.

Donating supplies

The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) collaborates with Insulin for Life Australia (IFL) to distribute emergency diabetes supplies in situations of acute need. IDF cannot receive donations of insulin or other diabetes supplies, so any offers from individuals or organizations should be directed to Insulin for Life.

Baqai Institute of Diabetology & Endocrinology (BIDE)

The Baqai Institute of Diabetology & Endocrinology (BIDE) has been designated an International Diabetes Federation (IDF) Centre of Diabetes Education for the period 2009-2012. Founded in 1996, the institute has grown from a single room diabetes clinic to a tertiary care centre, providing comprehensive services under one roof.
