4th Annual Middle East Congress on Clinical Nutrition

Our mission is to develop and extend knowledge of nutrition  related matters, through fundamental, multidisciplinary, and clinical research; to facilitate contact among nutrition and medical specialists; to support the dissemination and application of nutrition science to improve public health and clinical practice worldwide; to promote graduate education and training of physicians in nutrition;  and, to provide reliable nutrition information to those who need it. We also aim to advocate for nutrition research and its application in the development of health policies and practice.

Retinopathy survey now open

The International Diabetes Federation (IDF), the International Federation on Ageing (IFA), and the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB), working in collaboration with The New York Academy of Medicine (NYAM), have launched a new project, the first kind in the world, to gather information on diabetic retinopathy and diabetic macular edema across 42 countries.

It is with deep sadness and regret that the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) recently learnt of the passing of Susana Feria Etcheverry De Campanella, a former Vice-President of IDF and a past Chair of the IDF South and Central American Region (SACA).

12th WHO/IDF/EASD Cambridge Diabetes Seminar

The Cambridge Diabetes Seminar provides a unique opportunity for participants from a range of backgrounds including clinical, research and public health, to engage in discussion, debate and collaboration on prominent issues in diabetes epidemiology. It aims to provide all those attending with a common goal to become better equipped in the epidemiological and public health aspects of diabetes and helps to foster international networks.
