Dr Graham Ogle honoured for international diabetes service

Dr. Graham Ogle, general manager of IDF’s Life for a Child programme is to be presented with the Harold Rifkin Award for Distinguished International Service in the Cause of Diabetes at ADA’s 73rd Scientific Sessions, taking place from June 21-25 in Chicago. 


Annual Report highlights milestone year for Life for a Child

2012 saw the IDF Life for a Child Programme reach the significant milestone of supporting over 10,000 children with diabetes in the developing world. The achievement of this target was truly remarkable and testimony to the rapid expansion that has taken place in a short space of time. In 2008, around 1,000 children were being supported by the Programme.

Latest Diabetes Voice issue highlights youth supported by Life for a Child

The lastest issue of Diabetes Voice, the quarterly magazine of the International Diabetes Federation, features the story of Mohammed Hamoud, a 19 year-old youth with type 1 diabetes from Zanzibar, supported by the IDF Life for a Child Programme.
