The World Diabetes Congress is one of the world’s largest health-related congresses, attracting over 400 high-level speakers and representatives from over 200 diabetes member associations across 160 countries.

IDF has run the World Diabetes Congress since 1952. The 2011 World Diabetes Congress in Dubai attracted 15,000 delegates. The congress offers complimentary access to registered members of the media only.

The deadline for online media registrations is Friday November 1, 2013. However we will still accept media registrations on the day.

World Diabetes Congress 2013 Spokespeople
The Programme Committee has put together a state-of-the-art programme with each of the seven streams offering interesting topics presented by eminent speakers. We aim to provide an optimum congress experience to participants through the creation of innovative and interactive sessions. In addition to the IDF President Sir Michael Hirst, the Programme Committee Chair and stream leads are official spokespeople for the Congress.
