Dubai marks the largest World Diabetes Congress in IDF history

A total of 15,100 participants were recorded at the World Diabetes Congress 2011 in Dubai, making this Congress the largest in IDF history. The attendance rate is a 20% increase on the previous IDF Congress held in 2009 in Montreal.

IDF gears up for largest World Diabetes Congress on record

Registration figures for the World Diabetes Congress 2011, to be held in Duabi, United Arab Emirates, are expected to reach 14,000 by the time doors open at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre on December 4. This means that this Congress will be the largest World Diabetes Congress in IDF history.

The previous World Diabetes Congress held in Montréal in 2009, attracted 12,500 participants.
