Mohanlal
Well-known Indian actor and producer Mohanlal joined the fight against diabetes in 2010 on behalf of the P. Kesavadev Trust, founded by the legendary writer’s family. He has been actively involved in awareness activities in Kerala and recently inaugurated the “Diabetes Kerala-2012” campaign in the port city of Kochi, where he called on the general public to unite to raise diabetes awareness.
As an actor, Mohanlal’s commitment is to portray his roles to perfection. But as a common man, he believes it is his duty and social responsibility to work for such a noble cause and help to create awareness of this serious and life-threatening disease.
His commitment makes him a worthy World Diabetes Day Hero!
