Life for a Child support

Commenced support: 2012

Communication began in August 2011 with a Ghanaian doctor undergoing training as the country’s first paediatric endocrinologist.  He had just opened Ghana’s only paediatric diabetes and endocrinology clinic, located in Kumasi – until now, children and youth with diabetes have been treated in adult clinics. LFAC will support the centre with insulin, educational materials, and other supplies.
