Diabetes awareness month and World Diabetes Day focus on the impact that diabetes has on the family.

Diabetes concerns every family is the theme of World Diabetes Day and diabetes awareness month this November. The International Diabetes Federation is raising awareness of the impact that diabetes has on the family and promoting the role of the family in diabetes management, care, prevention and education.

Be part of the campaign and show your support by organizing or supporting diabetes awareness activities throughout the month of November.

• Use our campaign resources: toolkit, posters, infographics, social media visuals and more are available for use in your awareness activities.
• Get involved: we need your help to spread the word about diabetes in November! Find out some ways that you can get involved.
• Share your activity information with us on our online events map.
• Engage with the campaign on social: get involved in IDF's social media activity for WDD and diabetes awareness month 2018 by liking, sharing or retweeting what we do.
• Help increase awareness of the diabetes warning signs by inviting people to test their diabetes knowledge through our online test.
