IDF Advocacy Activities

Through its advocacy activities, IDF aims to influence the development and implementation of public health measures to improve the health of people living with diabetes, prevent type 2 diabetes and stop discrimination against people with diabetes.

IDF is engaged in ongoing advocacy efforts around Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in the run-up to the centenary of the discovery of insulin (January 11, 2022). Read more about IDF activities on UHC here.

 

IDF has an ongoing social media campaign aiming to encourage people living with diabetes to talk about complications and challenge healthcare professionals to change the language they use.
