The IDF Diabetes Complications Congress 2018 in Hyderabad, India held on 25-27 October 2018 was the first in a new series of live educational events developed by IDF to tackle the issues around diabetes complications.
IDF 2018 featured over 100 invited speakers from around the world; a dynamic programme, spread over seven streams, that provided participants with the latest research, treatments and tools to limit and treat diabetes complications; and a lively exhibition showcasing the latest advances in diabetes complications care and technology.

The IDF Congress 2017 programme consisted of 160 hours of scientific sessions with presentations from over 330 high-level speakers. In addition more than 1000 posters were presented during the event.
A total of 7534 participants from 182 countries attended the IDF 2017 Congress held in Abu Dhabi, UAE from 04 to 08 December 2017.

The IDF World Diabetes Congress 2015 programme consisted of 220 hours of scientific sessions with presentations from over 400 high-level speakers. In addition more than 1000 posters were presented during the event.
All sessions have been webcast and are available for viewing subject to speaker consent.
Viewing of webcasts is free for registered congress delegates. Delegates can login to their congress profiles and click on the webcast module.
Access for non-delegates can be purchased. Individuals can use a congress profile (existing or new) to proceed to payment via the webcast module and then access the webcasts.

The World Diabetes Congress Vancouver 2015 has received 24 CME credits.
This event is an accredited group learning activity under Section 1 as defined by the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada for the Maintenance of Certification programme. It is approved by the Canadian Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism for a maximum of 24 credits. This programme was co-developed with the Canadian Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism, and the International Diabetes Federation and was planned to ensure the evidence presented is valid, objective and balanced.
Through an agreement between the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. The IDF World Diabetes Congress 2009 was held in Montreal, Canada. The five-day congress attracted 12,000 international delegates to access the latest data and opinion from the scientific community, discuss key issues in diabetes care, and exchange information on how available resources can best be used to tackle the global diabetes problem.
Delegates left the congress energized by the experience and ready to take key learnings back to their countries to see how local adaption and implementation can best benefit people living with diabetes and those at risk.
