Last update: 20/01/2021
We are very pleased with the interest and excitement around our upcoming webinar ‘Imagining the next 100 years of diabetes’. The webinar will take place on Friday, January 22nd, 17.00-18.30 CET. If you have not yet had the chance to register, you can do so here.
2021 will mark the 100th year anniversary of the discovery of insulin, the first milestone of a fascinating scientific journey that continues to save millions of lives across the world. Today, it still is the only effective treatment for people with type 1 diabetes and an important therapy for some people with type 2 diabetes. But what does the future of diabetes treatment hold? What are the most promising approaches? Will the next 100 years bring a cure? What are people with diabetes’ hopes and/or dreams? Join our webinar to hear from them and from experts from a variety of areas.
One part of the webinar entails a discussion of questions collected from the public prior to the event. These questions about the future of diabetes in Europe will be put to our panelists on the day and discussed. If you wish to participate, please submit your questions to Lisa.Dolan@idf-europe.org, or contact us via our Twitter or Facebook pages.
