APRADE consists of health care professionals dedicated to influence policy, increase public awareness, and encourage health improvement, promote the exchange of high-quality information about diabetes, and provide education for people with diabetes and their healthcare providers. Membership is open health care professionals wishing to render diabetes education, diabetes management, support, guidance, and encouragement to individuals with or at risk for diabetes. APRADE is a purely voluntary organization. APRADE does not discriminate based on race, color, sex, age, religious affiliation, handicap, national origin, or another personal factor. Foundational values of equality and freedom for all will be honored.
