Education Coordinator

IDF is looking to hire a full-time Education Coordinator to join our Education team in Brussels. This role is responsible to support the development and execution of online and face-to-face education and to assist in the development of new education initiatives.

 

Key responsibilities and activities

  • Coordinate the production and delivery of content to support the IDF School of Diabetes (online platform)
  • Collate and analyse the training data
  • Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and implementation of the project
  • Prepare the programme implementation plan, timelines, resources requirement and utilisation plan to keep track of process and progress of the programme
  • Develop the operation manual, reports, timelines and other relevant project documents
  • Coordinate the application review of clinical/research institutes with the expert committee for the IDF Centres of Education and Centres of Excellence programme
  • Review and monitor Centres’ annual reports and coordinate with dedicated contact for each centre
  • Write presentations and draft promotional content such as articles for publication and social posts
  • Help monitor and evaluate education initiatives

Skills/Competencies/Experience

  • Master’s degree in Public Health or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in implementing multidisciplinary educational programmes (face to face and/or online) in a chronic condition, preferably in diabetes and/or diabetes-related complications
  • Experience in working with multiple stakeholders (Government, NGOs and Industry)
  • Oral and written native knowledge of English. Knowledge of one or more of the six most influential languages would be an asset
  • Ability to analyse and synthesize scientific information and research
  • A commitment to health issues, with empathy for the diabetes cause
  • Strong interpersonal and team-working skills
  • Action-oriented, a good problem solver and results-driven
  • Would thrive in a multicultural and international environment
