Congress Programme Coordinator

IDF is looking to hire a full-time Programme Coordinator to join our Congress team. This role is responsible for coordinating the development of IDF Congress scientific programmes in order to ensure high quality live educational events.

 

Key responsibilities and activities

  • Coordinate the development of the scientific programme and abstract submission
  • Establish process and timelines
  • Develop, monitor and maintain congress programme web pages and congress app in collaboration with IT supplier and web designer
  • Prepare relevant statistics related to the scientific programme
  • Act as a contact person for invited speakers and programme committees
  • Monitor registration, travel and accommodation for Invited Speakers and Chairpersons
  • Process and organise publication of abstracts
  • Coordinate other IDF live-learning events as required

Skills/Competencies/Experience

  • Three years’ experience in a related position (administration/coordination in a healthcare or scientific environment is an asset)
  • Knowledge of standard business software
  • Native-level fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Able to interact with key opinion leaders and members of the scientific community with confidence and diplomacy
  • Goal-oriented, with a good eye for details
  • Organised and methodical
  • Good evaluation, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Self-starter and takes initiative
